Our Faculty for 2022
Janice Wheeler is Region 13’s Arrangers Coordinator and she performs with Pride of Portland. She holds Specialist Certificates in Music Theory and Harmony from Berklee College of Music and is skilled in Finale Music Notation.
Mike Rosen has been using music notation software since the early 90s, when he got tired of singing from third-generation copies of poorly written mimeographs. He switched to Finale NotePad around 2002, then PrintMusic, and finally the full Finale. Back then, SPEBSQSA was still sending hand-written charts to the chapters. Mike submitted a rewritten chart to Joe Liles, and got back about three pages of corrections. He’s gotten better.
Chuck Roegiers is directing Acapella Sound, and is assistant director for West Sound Chorus. A retired U.S. Navy Bandmaster, he arranges barbeshop music for men’s and women’s groups, including the Dapper Dans of Disneyland fame.
Mike Menefee directs West Sound Chorus and has arranged music for both BHS and SAI choruses and quartets. A two-time Evergreen District quartet champ, Mike holds an M.Ed. Degree and has taught in Central Kitsap Schools for over 25 years.
Our keynote addresses and our classes will not be recorded. The SHOW will be available on a YouTube premier channel for a month – for those who have paid for the show as part of their registration or for paying for the show separately.
